A Modern Seattle Waterfront Engagement Session

Hey there, folks! Today, I’m stoked to share the story of an awesome couple and their rad Seattle waterfront engagement session. As a photographer, capturing love in its purest form is always a freakin’ joy, and this session was no exception. Let me introduce you to Jessica and Josh. Josh is an old college buddy of mine, and after enduring a f*cking eternity due to the damn pandemic, they’re finally tying the knot later this year. Now, when we sat down to plan their engagement session, Jessica had one important request: she wanted a spot that had a real connection to their past. See, back when they were living it up in Belltown, they’d often stroll down to Pier 99. It held a special place in their hearts, but they didn’t want the whole session to be just about the city. So, we put our heads together and came up with a plan.

First things first, we hit up Pier 99. We walked along that motherfcking waterfront, capturing the memories of their Belltown days. The urban vibes mixed with their nostalgia made for some seriously rad shots. But we weren’t done there. We wanted to add a touch of nature to the mix. So, off we went to the enchanting Olympic Sculpture Park. Which is also one of my favorite Wedding Venues of all time! Art installations, lush greenery, and that mesmerizing waterfront backdrop gave us the alternative and modern vibe they were after. I couldn’t help but get caught up in the magic of their love as we roamed through the park. Every damn frame was bursting with their electric connection. This engagement session was a perfect blend of downtown Seattle’s hustle and bustle and the serene beauty of Olympic Sculpture Park. We nailed it! Jessica and Josh got exactly what they wanted, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I mean, you’ll see when you scroll down, the photos really speak for themselves.
