The Kingston House Styled Shoot

A styled shoot for wedding and Engagement portfolio at the Kingston House. I did this way back a few years ago with the wonderful women who run Bixby & Pine. I decided to go back into some of my older photos and re-edit some of them. Personally, I love the colors and the way these look with a refresh on it.

Kingston House is a lovely spot that’s just a ferry ride away from the Edmonds/Kingston route and about 5 minutes from the terminal on the Kitsap side of the water. It has a amazing lavender fields when in season and a beautiful hallway that is usually lined with lavender hanging from the ceiling. I cant say enough good things about the venue, it’s a wonderful oasis away from the city and really brings you into a nature like venue with the modern touches you love.

Kingston House has a special place in my heart as a venue. Its literally right down the road from where I grew up in Kingston, Washington. Growing up, I always loved seeing the beautiful lavender fields in bloom as I drove by. I have always wanted to go shoot more weddings there. Its such a beautiful, quiet little spot perfect for more intimate celebrations. I know a lot of my clients want something that can help them lean into more non-traditional vibes. The Kingston House is a venue I highly recommend to check out in those cases.
