A Great hall at Greenlake Wedding
If you’re looking for a charming, low-key wedding venue in Seattle, a Great Hall at Greenlake wedding might be perfect for you. Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful wedding for a dear college friend and his partner here. The couple’s laid-back style was evident throughout the day, making it an intimate and memorable celebration. Even during the planning process, they emphasized not putting pressure on to make things happen.
Low-Key Wedding vibe
The day began with the two of them getting ready at a local Marriott hotel. It was conveniently located just a short drive from the Great Hall. This allowed for a relaxed start to the day, free from the stress of long commutes. The hotel was accommodating but a challenging space to photograph in, but I think we made the best of what we had to work with! I always find that getting ready is such a key time in a wedding day, as it introduces a lot of opportunities for you and the couple to really engage. It also helps us photographers get in the swing of our wedding artistry.
Once the couple was ready, we headed over to the Great Hall for their wedding party portraits and to start the wedding. The historic architecture and lush greenery surrounding the venue offered stunning photo opportunities! We even had surprise visit by their furry pup to take a few pics with during their portraits. The couple’s joy and love for each other shone through in every shot, making for a wonderful addition to their wedding album.
Dinner by Fat Zack’s Pizza
For dinner, the couple chose Fat Zacks pizza, a beloved local favorite. This unique choice added a personal touch to the reception, reflecting the couple’s love for delicious, casual food. Guests enjoyed a variety of mouth-watering pizzas, including a pickle pizza. You might think that sounds weird, but trust me it was DELICIOUS. Capturing the Day on Video
One of the highlights of this Great Hall at Greenlake wedding was the wedding video I created. This was a new and exciting challenge for me. The video turned out to be a huge hit, capturing the essence of the day and allowing the couple to relive their special moments. Given the positive response, I’m considering adding wedding videography to my packages, depending on demand!
